Yeah for me - got the 30 lb turkey cooked in time for supper. Mind you I put it in at 6 am but it was well done by supper time so that's all that matters. We had a lovely meal with my parents, DH's mom and sister and our kids - small but nice and the food was good. Thanks to everyone for the help. Gotta say I love my dishwasher - makes big meals much nicer. Today we will attempt to make a dent in the leftovers and hopefully send some home with DH's sister and mom.
I watched Oprah today and fell in love with the idea of getting more veggies into my kids diets. I'm going to try and get my hands on the Deceptively Delicious cookbook. I printed out a few recipes from Oprah's website so we'll see how those go. Not that my kids don't already eat veggies but I'm sure they could add more.
4 days until DH's birthday and I've been trying to get him a Wii but they seem to be hard to come by. Going to try and get to Wainwright and have a look there this week. Otherwise it'll be a punching bag as he's been talking about that being good exercise as well.
Hope everyone had a happy turkey day! Oh almost forgot BB is now rolling from back to front as well and did I mention he cut one tooth!
