Wednesday - where did that time go?

Okay so it's been awhile since I've been at the computer. Things have been a little busy and we've not been home.

Saturday we headed to the city despite the cold weather. Had lunch at Auntie Wendy's on the way in and then were on our way again. Kids travelled great - for them anyway! We hit the dance store for tights and then Lulu Lemon (or Lemon Lulu if you're DH!) E made a deal with her dad that she would give him her saved money to invest and he would pay for her Lulu. Really it's just the DH is a softy and doesn't like to see her spend her own money - its working for her I guess? Then we hit the hotel and stayed put, took all three kids into the pool which was warm like a bathtub and they all loved it. E had a good time on the slides as well. Then we ordered in supper to the room and stayed indoors out of the cold. Well except me since I had to go out and get BB some milk.

Sunday we went from the hotel's underground parking to the mall's underground. Reezer fell asleep on the way to the mall (3 blocks) and stayed asleep for most of the mall. Got the things we needed for E and for BB and hold onto your hats here DH bought himself another coat!! I lost count but I think he's now at 25 of which he wears maybe 4 - me thinks its time to clean them out. Another spring project!

Monday we swam some more and then did Costco -very quickly just E and I as the babies were asleep and DH stayed with them. Had to make a stop at Unity for DH to get his ears flushed at the doctors - he was in pain after swimming and couldn't take it anymore. Thankfully the children and I only needed to wait about 1/2 hour in the van and then he could hear and was pain free again. Finally got home and did 5 loads of laundry so we could take off again Tuesday morning.

Tuesday E went back to school and the babies went to Grandma's so that DH and I could go to Edmonton for the test on my toes. My baby toe and the two beside it have been numb since having BB and my doctor ruled out a thyroid problem or a B12 deficiency so sent me for a nerve test to determine what was wrong. So DH and I drove to Edmonton had a half hour appointment to find out that they have no idea why, can't test the small nerves in the toes and that it is no big deal I just have numb toes. Then we went to Olive Garden for supper - yum! Our Valentine's Date! Hit Zellers for Ajay's bday gift which will be late sorry buddy auntie is failing miserably at being organized these days! And promptly got lost trying to get out of the city without a map! Great since it was snowing heavily and rush hour - fun times! But eventually we found our way out of the city and got home. The storm calmed down around Lloyd and then picked up again as we got closer to home. Got everyone picked up at Grandma's - thank you Grandma - and into bed!

Today I am snowed in - there is a bank in front of the garage bigger than Reezer but that's okay I'm going to get some stuff done today - NOT! BB is in pay back mode from beinfg left and so the day is not going as I'd hoped.

But Reezer wants help and I think I hear BB awaking from his nap so I'd better get to it...
