What the heck?

So it seems I've been away from the old computer for a bit - sorry to those of you dying to know what's going on with us! LOL

We got to the farm Friday night without any trouble. Except that E came home from practice with missing a bolt holding the blade into her skate, a necessity when going to play hockey in the morning. No problem though, got to the farm and dad and grandpa made a trip to the shop and all fixed. Thanks again Grandpa. Everyone got to sleep and all was well.

Saturday we were up and out the door in plenty of time ( this plenty word reminds me of a basketball trip with Cougar Mama and Auntie Velvis and I think Lisa - and their being "Plenty" of bathrooms down the road. Anyone else remember that?) Okay sorry sidebar there. So DH, E and I head out and its foggy but no big deal right cause I know where I'm going. So so wrong! We are taking the back road into Dodsland and I in the fog direct DH to turn one road too soon! Oops! "What kind of goat trail are you taking us on?" And in Mom and Dad's new car yet! Yikes! However we plowed through, got to the highway just as the rest of the team is passing and all is well.

Then the hockey began, the girls played well, the reffing was questionable and we lost both games 4-2 to Tisdale and 3-1 to Lucky Lake. What can you do? Then being the terrible parents we are we try and discuss with E on the way home how perhaps she should not ice the puck quite so often. This results in many tears and a bad mommy feeling for the night. (Then on Monday at her league game we mention to the coach that we had this discussion and he says no no she is one of few players who always listens to what we tell her to do OOPS ! No more trying to coach from home!!)

Had a lovely visit with the Allcock's at mom and dad's, Reezer thinks Greggy and Jamesy are now her best friends - too cute! Then even better mom got up with BB on Sunday morning and I got an extra hour of sleep - sweet!

Sunday I had clothing club - lovely to be out with the ladies. A supper as we missed clothing club in January due to the weather. I will host in June - hopefully after a trip to Boston to do my shopping!

Monday E had her second game against Irma in Irma. We got a sitter and went to watch, much less icing this game! They tied the game but won the series so now we face North Battleford and must play two games before Sunday so will have a busy weekend.

Okay I think I hear the boy better go - sorry this is so long!

Val was driving us to bball and someone can remember who had to pee. Suddenly we came uponthe sign on the road that indicated turning to Plenty and after that everything ended with 'there's Plenty down the road" including that there would be Plenty of bathrooms down the road. And I too still think of it everytime I pass the sign.
