Waiting to sleep

I am going to bed very soon, very bad night last night, ended at 6 this morning when BB and Reezer decided to be awake for the day. Lovely! I did get back into bed for 10 minutes once DH was out of the shower but it's pointless really cause it takes me at least 10 to fall asleep but at least I was horizontal for a bit.

Walked downtown for the mail with the kids in the wagon. Well Reezer was in and out, and life lesson learned for me, always always put her splash pants on she loves the puddles. BB discovered if he leans out of the wagon he can touch the turning wheel and get his mitts muddy too! They are so brilliant - at getting dirty anyway.

So then after a nice walk it was lunch and nap time. Got BB to sleep and then Reezer was asleep while watching a movie. Both asleep - great I'll just have lunch, change laundry loads, do the recycling, start the dishwasher and then I'll go for a hap! Wrong - should have started the list with have a nap and maybe I would have gotten one, BB was awake before I got it all done!

So one day left of school and work before the long weekend. E and I have dance tomorrow night and I should make the whole class as DH is not on call its his weekend off.

Friday we will colour eggs at Grandma Darlene's, a family tradition which the kids love, I'm sure Reezer will be more into it again this year. The year before last DH made me an egg that said "Cindy" on it - he's lucky to still be alive!

Saturday we will have E's family birthday supper. She has requested take out pizza and DQ ice cream cake. Sounds like I'll have it pretty easy this year. It was our niece's birthday as well so I think I'll make her spinach dip so at least I have to do something!

And now I'm going to bed before BB awakes for the first time. I just got home from a meeting and DH has everyone in bed - ah the quiet!
