And he's off

Well it's official BB is a walker now. He has given up on the crawling thing, if he falls down he just gets right back up to standing and he's off. Not bad for 10 months old. Of course he is much more inquisitive than the girls and is up on everything. The other day I turned my back on him and when I looked back he was standing on top of the chair that goes with the table we got them with their Christmas money. And I do mean standing without holding on to anything - nice. (If you are telling me that I shouldn't have turned my back I know I know I'm trying really I am!)

So the holiday went way to fast and now we are already two days back into school. E had her hockey supper last night which I thought DH was going to with her but when he got home he didn't want to go so I got another night out and took her. It is a rather long and not so exciting process but nonetheless I spoke with other adults and ate a meal not prepared or cleaned up by me. Pretty good night for me.

DH's grandma is in the hospital so we were up to see her this afternoon and then had supper out. She was very dehydrated because she is not eating or drinking well at home and although she seems to be doing better in the hospital they are considering sending her home. It is a very stressful situation for DH's mom since his grandma lives with her. We are hoping that the doctor takes into consideration DH's mother's stress level when he decides what to do. It's pretty hard to tell someone that is almost 91 to eat if she doesn't want to eat but she gets too weak and we all fear she will fall at home. Hopefully a resolution can be reached that will be the best for both of the grandma's!

E has dance competition in Kindersley on Saturday and Sunday. She will do her trio as a solo as both other girls are involved in confirmation at church on Sunday. She is very excited to do it as a solo so I hope she doesn't get stage fright come time to get out there.

And now since it is 12:30 am and I just finished invoices and haven't been to bed I best sign off. I am supposed to get DH's nephew Tony in the morning so his mom can go with Grandma D to talk to Grandma B's doctor!
