Another week complete

Wow Friday again. So what's up for the weekend?

DH is on days off so he'll be around to manage children while I volunteer. He loves that so much! We have the family fun day at the school on Sunday. Set up at 10 and then it runs from 1-4. I have E and some of her friends scheduled to run one of the games, she's thrilled! Not sure if we will take the little ones over or not have to see how the napping is going.

E has her wake a thon tonight at the school to raise funds for the swimming pool. She's so excited she woke up early - great now she was up early and she's going to stay up until 7 am tomorrow. She's going to be a lovely happy girl to deal with. But don't worry mom I'm going to have a nap after school - right I'll believe it when I see it.

We are about to start to finish the kitchen, I think! I picked counter top, not the original granite idea, going to stick with a Formica - finally convinced DH it was too much money. So now I'm waiting on the guy from the Rona downtown to come and measure. Pretty cool that we have a Rona in our little ol' town. DH is going to do the installation himself ( hopefully he's still talking to me when its done!). Then once the counter is in have to find someone to tile the back splash, counting on Crazy Mama to give the name of the guy who did her bathroom. And then we'll paint the whole living area upstairs and finally the project will be complete. Of course then I'll probably want to redo the ensuite and paint the basement and ...

Anyway best get to work have to bake a cake for the Sunday thing and want to get the van cleaned out and the for sale sign in it to park on the driveway tonight, the neighbours are having a big garage sale.
