Recital - check

Recital is finished for another year. E did very well and I have some still pictures to post but won't promise tonight to get it done. It's a Jon and Kate night. Thank you to Grandma Darlene for watching the little ones in the afternoon. In the evening they were home with dad, and Grandpa and Grandma. Every year recital gets a little easier as E is able to do more of the costume changes herself. Only the hair changes she needed help with this time. So dance is almost done. She just has her tap exam on the 12th of May so a few more practices for that.

Had a little oops on Sunday morning. E forgot to shut the gate to the stairs and BB did a tumble all the way down. Thankfully he was more scared than hurt, unfortunately E was extremely scared and upset- more than BB I think. Very hard when two of your babies are hurting. I am sure none of us will forget to latch the gate again.

Took the little ones up to Lloyd today to pick up the books - not a happy trip but we were expecting to have a largish tax bill for this year. Still getting back on track from the H and R Block disaster of two years ago. On a better note BB travelled much better than usual sleeping on the way up and the way home. ( Maybe that bump to the head helped out with that?)

Went to my body sculpting class tonight. Extremely good work out - and I totally expect to not be able to walk tomorrow. Should be fun taking care of the little ones as DH is back to work.

Now just waiting for further word on my baby bro it appears he was on the wrong end of a hit tonight. Hopefully his large Reynolds' head was properly protected by his equipment! (Right Tenaj?)
