So here is how the long weekend went...
Friday my mom and Grandma came up to Macklin to pick up the kids. DH and I had the wedding of his aunt to attend. So we went out to supper with his family and then to the mass and dance. The average age of the crowd was 65 and still we managed to have a great time.
Saturday I had grand plans for all the housework I was going to accomplish before DH got home from work and we headed out. Didn't get as far as I would have liked but it will keep I am sure. We arrived at the farm in time to see my cousin Laura and her boys before they had to take off. Enjoyed a visit with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Diane and Julie as well. The Murphy's and the Allcock's stopped by for an evening visit as well.
Sunday we watched the Rider game trying to get a glimpse of Scott and Melissa but they didn't act crazy enough I guess because we didn't see them. Mom made turkey supper - yum and I watched a whole movie - don't know when I last did that!
Monday we headed home and I had clothing club. And today has been bookwork and getting back into the swing of real life - seems summer is done boo hoo. Looking forward to next year!
