Oh where oh where have I been

Wow a whole week without some words of wisdom and inspiration from me - what have you all been doing without me? ( hee hee)

So the tile finally is done and I do have pictures they just have not made it to the computer yet. I love it and am itching to paint and keep thinking that the walls in the kitchen really aren't much so maybe I can do it myself. If I could just rig up my playyard to keep BB out of the kitchen I might be alright - we'll see.

Hairspray was really really good. The girls and I had a productive day of shopping, in which you would think I would get some Christmas shopping in but no I just did stuff for me and the kids - necessities you know - not sure that DH would agree but its done now. I really did need some clothes so was pleased to find a few things even though in American Eagle I have to buy guys shirts cause I'm way to big for the ladies side.

Saturday I tried to recover from being up to late and up to early the next morning and we went to DH's mom's to get out of the house for the tile guy.

Sunday we were off to Lloyd for E's game. Which they lost 3-0. Totally lack of effort on the girls part. DH is in the box opening the door for the defence this year and is getting a bit more vocal with E when her effort isn't what it could be. Not sure how that's going to work out for them.

Then we spent the night in the family suite and the Holiday Inn. It was a great room, king bed in the bedroom which DH, I and BB slept in - now DH is even more sure we need a king. And E and Reezer had the pullout in the living room. The pool is small but there was no one else in it so we had a good time. BB is doing great kicking and splashing so I'm sure we have another fish on our hands.

We came home Monday and BB was coughing so hard he puked in the truck so we made an appointment and took him to the doctor that afternoon. Now we are awaiting an appointment with a pediatrician for him to try and figure this coughing issue out.

Last night was parent teacher interviews - Different in the high school going around to all her teachers in the gym. They all said the love her in their class and that she causes no problems. Her science mark was a bit of a concern but she'll just have to work a bit harder this term. Turns out her p.ed teacher played with Uncle Scott for a bit when he played junior with the hounds - small world!

Today is mom and dad's 37th anniversary - well done - and they are coming up for supper. E has dance tonight and hockey tomorrow and Saturday.

Okay BB is freaking gotta go!
