Back at it

Okay so here's how the rest of the week went.

Thursday - had our other girl all day - BB slept in the afternoon and the girls had a good time. I managed to get to school and get the sub orders picked up and counted late that night.

Friday - was off to the hospital with BB for bloodwork and a doctor appointment for me. That took up most of the day with a stop for lunch in between. Then had clothing club - good food, drinks and great laughs - meant Saturday came too early for me.

Saturday I used the Home Works program I bought at Home Hardware to pick paint colours for the upstairs - its a great program and worth the $25 to me to see the colour on the wall before I purchase. Then mom and dad were up and we took Reezer with us to Provost to E's game. BB stayed home with DH to have his nap and DH did the crack filling for the painter to come on Monday. E won her game 15-0, bit of a blow out and she got two goals.

Mom and Dad stayed for sleepover and were gracious enough to keep both BB and Reezer at home for E's Sunday game at home. They lost 5-0 to NB. Talk about a turnaround from the day before. They did play well but are unfortunately intimidated by one girl who is amazing she had a natural unassisted hat trick in the first period! She also started a fight in our playoff game last year so not only is she really good they are really scared of her. I keep telling E she has a mask on but she is still scared.

The rest of the day was spent in prepartion for the painter. I have to say that although I think I'm a not bad housekeeper the tops of my cupboards were disgusting! Going to have to add that to my list of monthly cleaning - oops!

Today we had our other little girl and the painter started so we were once again confined to the basement - thankfully this should be the last project for awhile that requires us to stay downstairs. One coat is on of the living room, hallway and of the wall that extends from the kitchen into the living room - so far I am loving the colour - we'll see what tomorrow, a second coat and the red going on in the kitchen looks like!!

Make sure you post some pics of the new paint when you get a chance -- can't wait to see!
