Some very exciting games this past week! We went to Irma for our first zone play off and beat them 1-0, as we had lost twice in league it was very exciting. They came back on Monday night - no score until 7 minutes left in the third - then they scored. So now we are tied in the 2 game total point, when we finally tuck one home. That is how the game ended so although we tied the game we won the series. E was the only one to get a penalty Monday night, but she prevented a shot being taken so I guess you call that a good penalty? In the next round we play Camrose and when we win this round we will be in the provincial tournament. Alberta provincials are different than SK ones.
Now we have the draw for league playoffs and depending on how we do in our last three games we will either play - Irma or NB - both teams we lost two games to during the season so they will be thinking this is a done deal for them but we seem to be finding our stride lately so you never know. There will be lots of hockey in the next little while that is for sure!
