Flu

I've got the flu - lucky me! Just started Friday morning and I think it is getting better so hopefully I can still go to Cold Lake tomorrow.

Here's what we've been up to this week:

Wednesday - I was so looking forward to my afternoon of silence and then Reezer's playschool was cancelled due to her teacher having the flu. She was disappointed as she waits for Wednesday for her afternoon at school so impatiently and they were supposed to go for a ride on a space ship. I guess she'll go to outer space next week! The weather was really nice though and we were outside three times, once to shovel, once to build a snowman - which was mainly me building and them watching but it was still fun, then the poor snowman fell over apparently I should have had a building permit to make sure it was structurally sound, then after supper we went for a walk with dad around the block, BB can now make it around the whole circle without being picked up even in ski pants and boots.

Thursday - we had a storm - lovely - dance was cancelled and DH had trouble at work. I had clothing club which was lovely to be out and talk with other adults.

Friday - I woke up feeling awful and pretty much spent the morning hunched over or lying down - and I had my tow other girls. At first I thought it was just my usual intestinal issues but it never went away and so I called Grandma to the rescue and after the others left I took my two to Grandma and came home for a nap - felt better after that I thought but still wasn't trusting my stomach. After we came home from Grandma's last night - she of course offered to make supper - don't you just love Grandma's? - I thought I was okay so E and I watched You've Got Mail- so funny for her to watch the dial up Internet and had some popcorn - not a good decision as I made friends with the toilet bowl in the middle of the night - nice!

Today we have nothing on the calendar and I had thought I'd head to the farm but still not trusting my stomach so going to stay close to my house - the kids are cleaning up toys - well E is and BB and Reezer are just playing with more as she puts them away - I'm tackling laundry and hoping I feel good enough to go with E to Cold Lake in the morning.

Please think good thoughts for team Fassa cause I'm really starting to miss my bro and was really looking forward to seeing him soon!
