Well i found a sitter so it looks like I'm going back to work! Yikes! Not sure how it is all going to work but at least it is only until the end of the school year with Easter break and Uncle's wedding in there it works out to about 10 weeks - anyone can do that much right?
Went to Lloyd today with the little ones to drop off the books at the accountant and get some work clothes - very pleased with the fact that I've gone down several sizes since I last bought work clothes - now to finish this losing task and stay where I want to be!
To say that shopping solo with both of them was a challenge might be the understatement of the year. I did manage to stay calm for most of the day and with lots of snack breaks and some paper and crayons in the dressing room while I tried on clothes we survived! We were all ready to go though by the time we finished with groceries.
While we were in the mall we came across this booth - Child Save Canada - for a yearly fee ($60) they keep a picture of your children as well as identifying information on file with an access code. So if your child goes missing you call this number report your code number and your child's picture instantly is available to all police in Canada and the US. You get a card for your wallet and stickers with the code for everyone who regularly cares for your children. So when you see those amber alerts it not only does that but provides pictures. Seemed like it couldn't hurt so I signed up. Also the lady there told me that for each of your children you should collect DNA by taking a q-tip and swabbing the inside of their mouth until it's wet and cutting a lock of their hair and keeping it in a Ziploc in the freezer - she said it is good for 20 years.
I'm not much of a researching so if anyone knows this isn't true let me know!!
DH is off on a "fishing trip" to Chitek - since he took no fishing equipment I am not anticipating that I will have any fish dinner when he returns - which he thought would be Monday.
Looking forward to 10 girls sleeping over Saturday night - hope they have fun like we used to hey Crazy Mama!

How exciting about the job! Hope Emma has a great sleepover tonight, though I'm sure there won't be much sleep involved...
