Long Weekend

I was feeling like we should have been camping this weekend - but now the weather is such that I am glad we didn't.   We are playing with the idea of going next weekend when DH is off just to Capt. Ayre which is a nice little campground about 40 minutes away.  The lake is really just a small puddle so no boat but if the weather continues to be warm the water should be warm and it is quite shallow so Reezer and BB would have a ball.  Anyone want to join us?

Took the kids to Lloyd yesterday.  Which always seems   like a good idea until we get there.  I feel guilty about wanting to not take BB so I take him then end up regreting the decision.  Really he gets nothing out of the trip and I end up really frustrated with him so I should just get him a sitter and we'd probably both be happy after about the first five minutes. Wal-mart went well Reezer and BB were quite good and I got everything on my list with little trouble.  Then we went to lunch ... not good should have done fast food not sitdown restaurant cause things just fell apart.  E had two friends along and I ended up not even eating my meal becasue I had to take BB out he was being so disruptive.  Thankfully E and her friends are at the age that being alone didn't bother them.  Then I took full advantage of the DVD player in the Expedition and they all watched a movie while I ran into a ladies shop got a few things for work.  Been a long time since I had to be dressed for work in warmish weather and my wardrobe is lacking but I did well yesterday so should be good to go now.  BB and Reezer fell asleep on the way home and E and her friends watched Season Two of One Tree Hill which is her current obsession with headphones on so I enjoyed an hour of peace and quiet.

Then got home, unpacked, made supper and took the kids for a walk and ice cream.

Today am making muffins doing some laundry, although I have to say I love my new washer as I did all my clothes laundry in three loads and had it dried and put away Friday night only having started at 3 pm.  Gotta love that.  Today just doing the sheets and towels and a few kids clothes with bubble gum ice cream on them!

BB is very happy because the weather has slowed Grandpa down enough for them to make a trip up.  We haven't seen Grandpa in over a month and BB is missing him a lot!  He can't wait to get Grandpa in the tent and knock him over!
