Happy 38th Anniversary to Mom and Dad! You've taught us all a lot and I don't think we say enough how much we appreciate it. Or at least I don't.
Here's a few lessons learned about marriage from my parents:
1) If you want a job done - start it - then your husband will come and take over - I learned this lesson when mom started removing the wall paper from the downstairs bathroom - and it works.
2) You don't get your hair cut regularly when you sleep with your barber - I will never forget Colin's face when dad put that little piece of wisdom out there - it took me awhile to explain that mom cut's dads hair - DH has given up on me - he shaves his own head now.
3) Location doesn't matter so much as who you're with - apparently mom didn't know she would end up on the farm when she got married - but look what a country girl she is now! It's hard sometimes to be away from home - but mom did it so so can I.
4) Most of all I hope I learned how to be a good parent - I always knew that my siblings and I came first for mom and dad and I hope my kids know that too.
Here's to 38 more good years! Love you both!

Well said Cynthia. R&B are the salt of the earth people and I'm glad you agree.
