A week then is it

How is it that a week really quickly goes by?  Sorry for the lack of posts lately.

Monday BB and I got H1N1 needles.  They opened them up to all now and he needed his second one.  Apparently I was a tad too cocky about it not hurting because about 4 hours later my arm hurt and I felt awful.   I went to bed early two nights in a row cause I felt so bad.  Much better now.

Tuesday DH finally went to the doctor about his back.  He was sent for xrays and the next day they called to say that the doctor had seen the xrays and was sending him for a CT scan so we go to Lloyd on Tuesday for that. Hopefully they will be able to fix the problem and free him from the pain.

E and I had a lovely time late one evening doing an essay that was due the day before.  I finally understand why some parents do their kids homework.  I really just wanted to do the essay and get it over with. I did learn somethings about the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool that I didn't know. (Pretty sure these facts are never coming up in Trivial Pursuit!)

Last night  was Christmas in our Town.  That is Santa was out and there were some tractors pulling wagons up and down main street.  I think in its inception it was meant to get people into the stores but for our family it was just about the  free treat bag!   E did play in the road hockey tournament with the girls from her hockey team losing in the final game to a group of younger boys, ouch!

DH has been pretty much couch bound this entire week and is starting to think he should get outside. He finds sitting up straight and walking quite uncomfortable so will forego E's game today.  I will leave the little ones at home with him as well.  He may have to call for back up as after E's game I go to dinner theatre with my clothing club.

I hope I do a better job of blogging soon!  We are counting the days til our cousins get home.  Which means it is getting close to Christmas and I have done nothing - some day!

The Altman cousins are ready for Christmas too. Ajay drew a family portrait with Reese and Brenden but no Rudy, "It was before he was born" he said! We skated today about an hour away an outdoor rink it was great, all except the drive there, Ajay thought it was a bad idea.

Watched Uncle Scott win tonight, won't mention the score in the Oilers vs Stars game!

Hope Jim's back gets better. :(
