Another Week

Well time does seem to get away on me now doesn't it?

Okay so here's the low down

Last Thursday took Reezer to the dentist after dropping BB with Grandpa.  Thanks again Dad.  Reezer refused to open her mouth - after she had the freezing in - yes that's right she already had the needles but then wouldn't get the work done.  I love my child, I love my child.... So now we are off to the Red Deer dentist unless I can get her into the dentist in P-Vost who does the Nitrous Oxide trick.

That night was also parent viewing for E.  Who didn't smile through her entire first dance - I thought we were old enough to know that we should smile during a performance.  She did eventually relent and show some teeth in the other dances but after the trip to the dentist already that day my patience was somewhat limited!!!

Friday was a usual day.  The kids and DH and I went out for supper in P-Vost while E had her last hockey practice there.

Saturday E and I were up and on our way to dance competition #1 by 8 am.  Had a great time - lots of laughs with the moms and the girls danced fairly well for the first time out. Need to work on some arms and getting more into the dance but all in all a great time. We spent the night and were home by 9 ish Sunday night.

While we were gone DH took the kids, Auntie W and Grandma to the border city and finally dropped off the recliner end of the sectional for fixing.  Also picked me up a lovely office chair - there goes that excuse for being behind in books!

Tuesday E and I spent the day in Lloyd. I had a dr, thing and took her along in hopes of getting a new batting helmet and bat.  They of course weren't out yet but we had a great time together and should do that more often.

Wednesday we tried again for mommy watching Reezer at dance and she did perfect!  I don't know that she will make the recital but I do know that she is learning and that her behaviour in class is acceptable so that's what counts.

It's Saturday night and I have kicked DH and the little ones out to host 7 of E's friends for a sleepover for her birthday. She will be 13 on Wednesday.  They are currently downtown getting a movie and pop.  When the arrived they spent 1/2 hour in the back yard jumping on the trampoline and taking pictures of each other on the swing set.  Takes me back a few years to when my friends and I did the same at the farm.  Also makes me think of Lana's birthday parties when there was always someone crying - I hope there are no tears tonight.

Tomorrow she is off to the Festival of Stars for her Grade 7 band at music festival.  I have clothing club and the little ones will return.  This is quite possibly the last sleep over they will have in Grandma's house so it's a bit sad but now Grandma will live so close they can pretty much go to Grandma's every day to just say hi.

DH leaves for his annual ice fishing trip on Thursday morning - wonder how much ice they will have?
