Since Mother's day ...
E has had three ball games won two lost one. She has also gone swimming in the lake 3 times, twice she has not taken a towel??? Today she left for her class trip to the city. They will take in the science center, stay at a college residence, swim, see the Alberta legislature and visit Fort Edmonton before returning home tomorrow evening.
Reezer has had three ball practices and continually quotes "Coach" - she's loving having something to go to. Playschool grad went well, she went up on the stage like it was nothing but of course the crowd was full of small children and rude adults so hearing the songs and poems was difficult. She received a Grad hat made out of Bristol board with her name on it in glitter and was over the moon. And of course don't forget the pink helium balloon. The after grad party with the gran's was good too!
BB continues to reek havoc over the world. Just kidding, he's just busy and has no fear, which I'm sure is typical boy. I just feel bad that there is not really anything to report. Oh we did get him some coveralls last weekend. He kept saying he wanted blue like daddy but when it came time to pick them out he went with bright orange! Can't miss him on the street.
We brought the trailer home and disposed of our winter guests. I bleached every single surface in there and washed all the dishes and linen so now feel that I will make it through the summer. We had plans to go to a small lake for the weekend with some friends from my work but that may be falling through not sure if we will go alone or not. The weather forecast seems to be improving so maybe a weekend of relaxing with just us and the kids would be good. We'll see.
DH and I took Reezer to the pediatric dentist yesterday. Another lovely experience - nothing $1400 doesn't fix! $150 of that was for a difficult to manage patient. She threw everything up that we tried to get into her yesterday. And this morning threw up again so I stayed home with her and now she has kept down pancake and toast so maybe things are turning around.
Reezer on stage at Grad - she is in the white and black dress.
The grad hat!
The 35 of the 54 students who are graduating to big school!
The new covies and the worker gloves - you should hear his worker man voice come out now. He wore the coveralls, gloves and his rubber boots(worker boots) for two days straight - it was 28 degrees out!
Helping dad with the jacks on the trailer.
