It's come to this

I am feeling a tad guilty over my lack of posts lately since I so enjoy the blogs I follow and am sad when there is no news so I am sitting on the floor in my bathroom as Reezer enjoys the play portion of her bath and trying to update the blog.

E has started hockey season in earnest finally.  They had a lot of practice with no games. So far they have played four games with two wins and two losses. And on Saturday E scored a goal.  Nice rebound and great positioning to put it through the five hole.  One of her friends tells her it was a garbage goal but I say a goal is a goal.

They didn't do as well as they had hoped at volleyball districts but still partied like they won with the entire team here for a sleepover full of silliness, dressing up and to my knowledge no beer.  I am thankful for that!

She has started basketball now and has a tournament at home this Friday.  So her week goes like this:
Monday - hockey practice, Tuesday- basketball practice, Wednesday - help with dance and hockey practice, Thursday - dance class for 2 hours help with Reezer's class for half an hour then basketball for 1 1/2 hours, Friday - off, weekend usually means at least one if not two hockey games. Somewhere in there she goes to sleep, eats and attends school.

Reezer has learned to read!  Very exciting as she is still in Kindergarten and basically is figuring it out on her own.  She is pretty pumped with herself. Equally exciting in her mind is that she has a loose tooth and we can see the permanent one coming in behind.  She is loving skating and dance.  Grandma brought home from the states a special dress for Christmas concert which Reezer is very thrilled with.

BB continues to make me laugh and drive me nuts every day.  His vocabulary is extensive and that would be impressive if there wasn't so much that was highly offensive coming out of a three year old!  Not sure where I went wrong with that boy - but he is very clear when he doesn't like something and quite expressive as well!  He is doing well with skating even though he refuses to give up the pusher.  The other night he wanted a pylon so he let go and skated over to it like nothing but insisted on getting it back asap. Stubborn little man!

No answers for DH regarding his pain situation.  We are now waiting for a specialist appointment in March.

Looking forward to enjoying a slower pace for the Christmas break but wondering if that is possible???
