| Ready for the day |
It wasn't the trip the family took when I was in school but the kids and I spent a day over the February break at Table Mountain. Reezer and BB had never been on skis before and DH was unable to join us so I wasn't sure how it all would work out. Turns out we had a great day. E took a friend so they spent the day snowboarding and both figured out how to carve. I won't pretend to know exactly what that means but they were both happy. The little ones and I tried one run solo before the lesson I had them scheduled for and they did okay. They had an hour private lesson for the two of them which I tagged along with and by the end we went up the quad lift and did awesome. We had a fabulous day finished off with all three kids saying thank you to mom without any prompting. I was very proud!
