I think I'll start a countdown - I'm so ready to be done with snow, cold weather and having to dress everyone appropriately!
It's been awhile again, not sure where my time is going these days. A lot of that has to do with a baby who is struggling with teeth again. I was so worried about going to the city after the horrid night he had Wednesday but then he was great sleeping in the hotel, not so good since we've been home but I'm thankful for the good hotel nights as that would have kept everyone else up as well at least at home it's just me and him, oh and Reezer since she's decided to have some bad nights as well. (pretty sure that's a run on sentence, sorry English teachers!)
Okay so Thursday we went into Saskatoon. Got to the hotel around 6:30 ordered some supper, then the Allcock's arrived and we hit the pool. Well actually just E went in the pool, the little ones had baths and bed.
Friday morning we had breakfast and enjoyed one of those really bright waitresses, who didn't bring any children's menus despite the fact we had 6 children at the table, and was super slow even though we had six children at the table. A quick swim for everyone and off to the Sports and Leisure show. There were so many boats there it was a bit overwhelming. Keeping in mind I know less than nothing about boats, I was there to wrangle children and keep DH from overspending! He found a boat he liked but we needed to discuss before purchasing. Pizza in the hotel, a swim and bed for the majority of the children. At this point we were up to 9 kids as the Ambros' family had joined us. Of course all the children minus my middle one were asleep. Then the alcohol started and the decision was made.
Saturday morning we did some Old Navy shopping, which meant everyone was shopped for except me! (I really need a girls shopping day, anyone???) Then we went back to the sports and leisure show and ordered a boat!!!! It's a 2008 Tahoe Q5i, here's the web picturehttp://www.tahoesportboats.com/boat/index.cfm?boat=2689. This is the exact boat we ordered as we chose black. So it is supposed to be ready for pick up in PA before the May long weekend. After that we picked up a few things for the kids at the mall, oh and E made a trip to Lulu and picked out her birthday present. DH even came to and was very close to getting his green shorts! Then we were home in time for E to take in the carnival and get everyone else to bed.
Sunday was a relaxing laundry day and supper at DH's mom's.
And now we are back into routine as DH is back at work today on the same time as us - yah! No more getting home late. I am looking forward to the warmer weather and getting outside with the little ones on a more regular basis. And now BB has reached his limit for happiness in the playyard!
