E did manage to stay up all night at her wake a thon. Then when I got her home she asked for toast and fell asleep on the couch before it came out of the toaster. I woke her and walked her down to her bed thinking I could be doing this in a few years for a totally different up all night reason. She slept until 2 had something to eat and then basically watched movies and laid around all day. She went back to bed at 9 and it's 8 now and I haven't seen her yet.
As you'll see in the post titled snow - we have some. I'm just fretting right now about what to do about family fun day. I think we should cancel but man is there going to be a lot of phoning to do! I just don't think it will be that much fun trying to get all the boots off and really I've already put the boots away so now all the digging out that has to go on in order to get out is turning me off. We'll see.
I spent much of yesterday making a lego block cake for the cake walk. It didn't turn out as good as I had hoped. I have all these ideas but somehow it never looks as professional as I had hoped, guess I didn't get of Aunt Reta's decorating genes! I guess I should have taken a picture for you all - but then I'd just be embarrassed.
DH's grandma is supposed to be getting transferred to the pallative care room at the health center here tomorrow morning. This is a relief and once everything is done will take a lot of stress off Grandma Darlene. Hopefully it all goes smoothly although I don't know if maybe the weather will affect that as well.
Okay I think I hear Reezer awake so better go!
