Up until today I hadn't ventured out into the snow. Preferring to stay inside and be melancholy about the whole situation. Tonight both little ones went to sleep before the one grocery store( not that we only have one store just that this one stays open later) in town closed and we were in dire need of some supplies so I bravely started the truck, letting the dear thing warm up and headed out. First I got a shoe full of snow, then I almost slipped getting onto the sidewalk downtown and to top it all off I was cold. Now I think I agree with my husband - we need to move somewhere warm - warm all year. Anyone know where we can get some property somewhere warm - oh and cheap? Oh and E is only moving if the Allcock's and all of her realtives come too. Can this be arranged???
So today I babysat a friends 4 year old. He was great, no trouble at all, except with my kids. They both woke up for the day at 6 am. Reezer was prone to fits of screaming at the top of her lungs when I said no. BB had only two short 40 minute naps and bit my shoulder so hard I'm bruised and have teeth marks. The poor little guy I was babysitting was overwhelmed by their antics. He is supposed to come back on Wednesday but I am sure he will beg his mother to find him somewhere else to go. I'm so proud!
E may be the only one in town loving the snow. She was outside after school and again after supper, digging tunnels and building forts. Not bothering her at all right now. Of course ball season was supposed to start tomorrow and now is postponed until who knows when.
I got a really cool picture of a robin sitting in the snow on my deck today. There was a whole flock of them actually. So weird for them I'm sure to be in the snow.
Okay E needs to be tucked in and then I am hitting the shower and watching Jon and Kate. Tomorrow - not leaving the house!
