Crap it's cold! Usually I don't think DH should complain about his job, he gets free lunches ( a lot) from companies trying to get their business, they play cards in the afternoons ( a lot), they have the occasional drink at work, he gets paid overtime and makes more than I ever will with my degree but then it gets cold. And now I think his job sucks - yesterday morning he got called out to work at 5:30 am and then just stayed there until he came home around 2 ish. Then last night he got called out to work again at 9 and came home at midnight. This morning the phone rang at 7 - it was a dispatcher calling to tell him when the steamer is coming. Last night's ESD ( emergency shut down) of the plant resulted in three broken belts on wells so that's what he'll be doing today in the cold - changing belts outside. Yuck! Yep Panama is sounding more and more like a good place to be - what's the temperature there today Wade? Looking forward to hearing the whole sales pitch next weekend.
Today's going to be a slow day I think. Maybe I'll finally get the bookwork caught up. LOL I have clothing club tonight around the corner - so the question is do I start the truck to drive a block and then let it run? Probably not so I'll be bundling up and trying to ingest some alcohol to keep me warm on the way home!
Tomorrow we are heading to Toon town as BB has his appointment on Tuesday. The girls will stay at Grandma Darlene's while we are gone. And maybe just maybe I'll finally buy my first present of the year!!!
