I'm tired- why isn't he? BB had another crappy night - I even relented and took him into our bed and that didn't help - although I have to say the new king is much more comfortable with three of us in it than the queen was. So now today I'm being very unproductive and a tad grouchy - lucky kids.
It's still a disgustingly cold temperature here and I looked around this morning and discovered that E had left her trombone behind. Great! So I went and started the truck - which hasn't been started since Friday and although plugged in protested very loudly. Then I decided I should take something to the staff room for Christmas so I whipped up a cheese ball and made a couple of trays of cheese ball and crackers. Then I dressed the kids - I wasn't sure about the windchill and such so I put them into full winter gear - coats and ski pants and took them out to the truck one at a time to get buckled in. They look so uncomfortable in their car seats with all their stuff on. E had better appreciate the effort it took to get the instrument to school. Of course the kids never got out of the truck while we ran a few other errands so were probably out in the cold a total of three minutes so perhaps the ski pants were overkill but what if the truck stopped?
We are heading into toon town this afternoon for BB's appointment tomorrow so I should be packing but I'm hoping to get that done during nap time. Then I have to rebundle everyone to go and get E picked up at 3:15 - what fun winter is? When are we leaving for Panama again?
