During July the kids and I were also able to spend some time at the farm "helping out". My brother was in a wedding in Stoon so he, his wife and my parents went in for that. Pam and I stayed at the farm with all six kids, hers, mine and our newest nephew. It was so much fun to have Eli without his parents. DH and Ira attended the Eskimos game that weekend so no dads were on the premises.
We had some sadness in July unfortunately as we lost Grandpa Archie. Thankfully he did not suffer and we had been to Winnipeg to see him last summer so we have those memories. Grandpa was 85 and had been retired as Scott likes to say it for as long as Scott has been alive. He had a great life, a great wife and if I do say so myself some darn fine grandkids, and great grandkids.

We toasted Grandpa at the farm with the bottle of scotch we had bought the last time he had visited our house and a wonderful shrimp dinner. It was nice that all 14 of us were with mom. At Grandpa's request there was no service.
The Ktown centennial had us taking the trailer to the farm to allow for enough bed space for all of us. And we managed to get a professional family photo taken in honour of mom and dad's 40th anniversary coming in November.
And that my friends wraps up July!
