Last day

Well we made it! Report card day is upon us.  E will complete Grade 9, Reezer Grade 1.  It is graduation day in the town of the bone today and I am feeling a bit weepy.  Not for the children that will graduate today but for the fact that in the blink of an eye it will be June 2015 and our E will be ready to graduate herself.
Please put that date in your calendar's people - I looked it up and I am thinking June 26 will be the day!  She is such a treasure to us and it will be a bittersweet day as we prepare to let her journey begin.

We are looking forward to a weekend at the new cabin with the Altman's.  Mom and Dad will pick up the two youngest and the boat this morning and DH, I and E will depart in the morning.  E and I will attend the graduation festivities tonight.  She has been planning her outfit for months - and she's not graduating.  I have a few small tasks to do as a staff member and DH will continue to prep the trailer - or more likely watch a ball game.

Speaking of ball games DH and I will travel to Boston in September with friends to attend a few Red Sox games.  We will travel on our friend's company jet and take advantage of the box seats for said company.  DH is pretty pumped.  September is not the ideal time for a teacher to take off but this is pretty once in a lifetime so what the heck.

E has ball provincials in mid July so we will be home until then.  She is taking her Bronze Cross now so will try and follow mom's footsteps after all and be a summer lifeguard.  She is even thinking she has a better shot at a job in Ktown staying with her grandparents for next summer.

Then we will depart on a cross border drive to get to Cinncy and see our other E ( and his parents of course.)
